The line-textured surface is the distinguishing feature of that Taslon fabric, but different from twill. Somewhere it’s also called “Taslan” by somebody. It’s woven of normal warp nylon (or polyester) and special weft air-textured nylon (or polyester) fiber, usually including textured and lined. Those Taslon fabrics are durable, often used in high-end inclement weather jackets and pants for athletes, military, and police, and for aprons and workwear bibs. Machine washable and dryable.
